Welcome to Green Condo! We are a group of passionate entrepreneurs that have one goal in mind – to help building residents reduce, reuse and recycle.

It all started a few years ago when founder, Kevin Makra, started on a mission to help multi-residential buildings with their recycling efforts. Waste diversion in condos is dismal, even by the best of standards, compared to diversion rates in single family homes. Why the large discrepancy?

Green Condo aims to be the fertile ground to change this unseemly dynamic. With education, advice, and some motivation this website will tackle this issue head on. With a proven track record, Kevin Makra has helped several buildings. In his own condo building, they are on track to save thousands of dollars per year!

His team will work to review a building’s current recycling program, develop a plan to improve upon it, and work with residents, building staff and property management to initiate a winning waste diversion strategy.
